Why We Exist

We've collectively rented 12+ apartments across New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, Austin, Seattle, and San Francisco. Between us, we've lost over $3,000 in security deposit deductions — most of it from wall damage caused by products that claimed to be "renter-friendly."

After years of trial and error, thousands of Amazon review deep-dives, and dozens of real-world product tests in our own apartments, we built Joyu Labs to share what actually works — so you don't have to learn the expensive way.
